Colorado’s conservation community is facing an urgent threat — the sunset of the Conservation Easement Income Tax Credit.

This program has been instrumental in conserving Colorado’s land and water, supporting agricultural families, sustaining rural economies, leveraging federal funds, and increasing access to conservation programs. Keep It Colorado is working on legislation that will extend the tax credit, but needs your help to support this work and the landowners who depend on it. We haven’t raised our member dues for several years, but the workload has grown to meet the demands of the moment. We are humbly asking our coalition to chip in at a pivotal time in Colorado’s conservation story. As the community of practitioners who work with landowners, we are hoping to raise $15,000 by March 1 to support this effort. For those who are able to contribute, we suggest making a donation equivalent to 10% of your annual membership dues.
