Keep It Colorado will present a panel, “The Nature of Community-centered Conservation,” at the 2024 Partners in the Outdoors Conference alongside its partners — highlighting the initiatives of land trusts and their partners to engage more people in conservation, and why that's important to Colorado's future.

Our Annual Policy Summit will be held in Denver, CO on Friday, August 25. This policy-focused member meeting is a great opportunity to learn about the legislative landscape both on a state and national level, and to weigh in on the coalition's priorities for the next legislative session.

Our Northern/Central regional meeting will be held in Fraser. We’ll start the day with a walking tour of a conserved property before convening at Fraser Valley Distillery for the afternoon.

Our Arkansas Basin regional meeting will be held in Pueblo. We’ll start the day with a walking tour of Bessemer Ditch and a visit to a farm stand.

Our Front Range regional meeting will be held in person in Berthoud, after a tour of Root Shoot Malting in Loveland. Our annual regional meetings are an opportunity for members to come together for connection, conversation and collaboration.

This year’s Southwest regional meeting will be held in Durango, CO on June 9.

This will be a unique opportunity to hear from land trusts and public agencies about what it takes to build successful partnerships for conservation initiatives. Our hope is to spark ideas for future projects, celebrate conservation achievements, and inspire more collaboration. This event is for Keep It Colorado members and partners - including other interested public agencies outside of the coalition.

Keep It Colorado’s annual Spring Summit, a convening of members and partners, will take place in-person on April 18 at Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Partners in the Outdoors Conference, with the theme “The Ideal State of Conservation.”

Keep It Colorado will be holding our annual Fall Policy Summit on Oct. 13 in partnership with Colorado Open Space Alliance’s annual conference in Vail. This event is an important opportunity to convene our members to discuss policy initiatives and priorities for the upcoming legislative session.

Our Southwest regional meeting will be held in person at the Ute Indian Museum in Montrose. We’ll start the day with a walking tour of the Shavano Valley Rock Art Site, conserved by Colorado West Land Trust.

Our Front Range regional meeting will be held in person at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden. Our annual regional meetings are an opportunity for members to come together for connection, conversation and collaboration.

Keep It Colorado will present "Real Estate Pressures on Private Land Conservation in the COVID-19 Era" alongside several of our partners, including Patrick Gardner of The Trust for Public Land, Jeffrey Boring of Estes Valley Land Trust, Jake Jones of Crested Butte Land Trust and others.

As land trusts conserve private land, they also protect water rights. Some of Colorado's land trusts are going beyond the parcel-by-parcel approach to conservation and are tackling big water challenges in a regional way.
