This will be a unique opportunity to hear from land trusts and public agencies about what it takes to build successful partnerships for conservation initiatives. Our hope is to spark ideas for future projects, celebrate conservation achievements, and inspire more collaboration. This event is for Keep It Colorado members and partners - including other interested public agencies outside of the coalition.

How do we ensure that both outdoor recreation and conservation thrive amidst a changing Colorado?

At this year's virtual conference, CPW will continue its efforts to advance the priorities identified in Colorado's Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) while also supporting Colorado's Outdoor Principles. This is a multi-week event from late April through June.
Land Trust Alliance is hosting its annual Advocacy Days event virtually this year. LTA invites the staff, board members and volunteers of Alliance land trust members to participate in this complimentary and virtual event to make a significant difference in land conservation without even shaking anyone's hand.
Keep It Colorado will present "Real Estate Pressures on Private Land Conservation in the COVID-19 Era" alongside several of our partners, including Patrick Gardner of The Trust for Public Land, Jeffrey Boring of Estes Valley Land Trust, Jake Jones of Crested Butte Land Trust and others.

Some of Colorado's land trusts are going beyond the parcel-by-parcel approach to conservation and are tackling big water challenges in a regional way. Rally is the exciting annual gathering of nearly 2,000 inspired and passionate land conservation practitioners from the US, Canada, South America and beyond, who are dedicated to conserving cherished places in local communities. Rally will be virtual this year.
The Salazar Center for North American Conservation’s 2020 International Symposium on Conservation Impact will highlight best-in-class examples in North American cities of enhancing natural systems to improve community health and support climate resilience.
