South Platte Water and Community Engagement Manager - Colorado Open Lands

Colorado Open Lands (COL) seeks an innovative and relationship-oriented professional to serve as South Platte Water and Community Engagement Manager. This position will help advance collaborative approaches to community conservation in the South Platte River Basin. COL is completing a multi-year planning process focused on identifying and protecting critical water resources that support agriculture, recreation, local economies, ecosystem health, and growing communities. Working with producers, ditch companies, municipalities, water providers, conservation partners, and funding entities, the South Platte Water and Community Engagement Manager will help implement the strategies and partnerships that emerge from this effort. The South Platte Planning Initiative is focused on identifying priority water resources, developing innovative conservation and water-sharing solutions, and strengthening connections among agricultural and municipal water interests.

Compensation: $70,000-$82,000
