School-Based Education Associate - Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK)

The School-Based Education Associate supports the coordination, preparation, and delivery of ELK's school-based and community education programs. This position works directly with youth primarily ages 5-14 through in-school, after-school, and community-based programming focused on science, environmental education, outdoor recreation, leadership, and environmental stewardship. Working under the direction of the Executive Director and collaboratively with ELK’s School-Based Education Coordinator, school partners, community partners, volunteers, and Urban Rangers, this position helps ensure programs are engaging, organized, safe, inclusive, and aligned with ELK's mission. This hands-on role combines direct instruction with program preparation, scheduling support, student recruitment and retention, data entry, communication with schools and families, and general program logistics.

Compensation: This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $25-$27 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.
