Outdoor Educator - CSU Extension Jefferson County

ENOR Environmental Discovery Day Camp has been inspiring outdoor discovery for 52 years, and we’re looking for dynamic, enthusiastic team members to help continue that tradition. ENOR gets Front Range youth going into 4th though 8th grade out on a different hike every day, discovering Colorado's nature and history along the way.

We are seeking to hire Camp Educators, supportive leaders who love working with kids outdoors. Educators help guide up to 10 campers each day through hiking, hands‑on learning activities, and exploration across local public lands. Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring camper safety and positive experiences
• Preparing daily activities based on camp curriculum
• Managing camper check‑in/out
• Organizing and caring for equipment

June 8-12
June 15-19
June 22-26
July 6-10

This position is based out of Golden, CO. Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The hourly rate is $18/hour: around $4200 over a five-week period. All education staff must have 455 hours verifiable experience working with groups of four or more school-aged children or hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience and passion for the outdoors & connecting youth with nature is preferred but not required.
