We're pleased to announce that on December 5 Keep It Colorado’s board of directors unanimously voted to endorse the policy recommendations of the HB19-1264 Working Group. Read Keep It Colorado's draft policy platform here.

This is the conservation community’s opportunity to strengthen future conservation efforts and resolve several outstanding issues that continue to put the state's conservation easement program at risk. Our goal is that this advocacy work will result in sound public policy that people can rally around, putting into action all of our values about protecting Colorado's natural resources.

We think of this work as a down payment on our state’s future. Success will mean that our coalition can champion real solutions to unresolved challenges of the tax credit program. Create more conservation opportunities. And ensure that investments and achievements we have made as a community stay protected forever. Success will also give our coalition a platform to reach more Coloradans about the benefits of conservation for our lands, our waters, our wildlife, and our way of life - inspiring them to engage in this work, too.
